These begonias slowed down when they were largest on the planter, then took off again once the surrounding plants filled in. Finally coming into bloom at a whopping 16inches. Here I meant for them to be tall against the rail as they are, at the new place, they are almost ponderous!

Ponderous........ now there's a good word, and very apt.
Will you save the begonias for next year ?

Thank you. I love these boxes, they are doing so well. :-)
Val, I haven't had much luck saving begonias. Last year I tried cold storage, but only one survived and poorly that. With the new house I'm getting a grip on my winter storage before attempting again. Ponderous, fits this years begonias perfectly. ;-)
