There is also a plant called Heucherella which is a Hybrid of Heuchera and Tiarella, it is interesting isn't it this plant science thingy. I bought a couple of Heucherallas also. They look very similar to Heuchera but more split/deeper cut leaves.

Olive....lol @ your plants vs. pension! I've noticed people have mentioned the Heucherella and didn't realize the connection with Tiarella...now all becomes clear :)
They are lovely...very lush growth/flowers.

Yes, whatever did we do without the www? We have a large complete set of Encyclopedia Britannica and they are never off the shelf these days...better to get up to date info online.

Only seen them this year Annella, so do not know if they will stand up to the cold in winter, it says they are hardy but there is hardy and not so hardy as we have all learned to our cost this last two winters.

I think they will be tough as old boots Mum!
13 Apr, 2011
And I bet they have them on Crocus!
13 Apr, 2011
You will have to get on there Annella and look for it. It is still full of flower. Really pretty. The others I bought are later ones, they are just starting to throw up flowers.

I reckon you would get these in most GCs though Annie.
13 Apr, 2011

Cupboards are bare but the gardens looking good!
13 Apr, 2011
Hope you don't get home and find them munching on your plants then!
13 Apr, 2011
That would make me Lol! They don't normally eat those plant type things in the house (veggies)
13 Apr, 2011
Nope, one of mine does, one doesn't. Rachel is so like her dad...only likes bland dull white food!! Callum is totally like me....luuuuurves all food except seafood and eats loads of veg....and loads of everything else too!!
13 Apr, 2011
I'm with you and Callum then, the only things I don't like are sluggy seafood (cockles, muscles etc) and baked beans!
13 Apr, 2011
That's good then, I won't have any problems feeding you when you come on your holidays!!
13 Apr, 2011
I drink just about anything too!! Lol
13 Apr, 2011
You will be fine with the Fraser clan then Annella, boozey lot they are!!
13 Apr, 2011
Ooooh that reminds me, last night I had two glasses of Pimms....first Pimms Cocktails of 2011!!!!! Hurray!
13 Apr, 2011
Yay - that should have relaxed those muscles then.
13 Apr, 2011
Lol Olive I'm sure I would fit in nicely!
Karen on the menu tonight is....Lychnis, Jasione, Dianthus followed by Veronica 'Foxy Red' a nice little hot cerise dish...4 for £10.00

LOL!!!! Annie! My two came over last night so I cooked a nice nut roast for Dinner and an apple sponge pudding with custard. It was nice to have us all around the table again for a change, but I was glad they were going home afterwards. The amount of housework here has gone to virtually nothing...it's amazing!! Btw, Pimms didn't work, I'm actually having to do exercises!!! I'm definitely getting old! :((
14 Apr, 2011
You obviously did not have enough Pimms it would have worked if you had had another couple of glasses.
14 Apr, 2011
I'll try that tonight then when scott's out playing footie. By the time he gets home I'll be sloshed!
14 Apr, 2011
