Marguerite- These are not mine. All the photos that have SFBG on them were taken at the San Francisco Botanical Gardens. I wish they were mine! There is a huge pond here on the property. It was damaged in an earth quake and never repaired. There are very large fruit trees that hang over the pond, which I guess made it very difficult to maintain. When I first moved here about 5 years ago, I was so heartbroken that the pond wasn't up and going. It has two bridges and a tree growing in the center. It looks as if it was stylized after a Japanese Koi Pond. It's huge and such a shame that it's not functional. I think that Jeff's (my partner in crime) father built it years ago. Jeff says that he used to go fishing (strictly catch and release!) in the pond as a child :)
