Never seen it before. Weeds are only plants growing in the wrong place anyway and this one is very pretty - I would certainly keep it if it appeared in my garden!

Goat's Beard (Tragopogon pratensis), or Jack/ned go to bed by noon. do the flowers shut by mid day?

And to add to the above, if you don't want it popping up everywhere, remove the attractive seedheads before they get dispersed by the wind. They grow where ever they land here, but i was surprised to find them a good 200' away.

I'd no idea there were blue ones of these! Have only come across the yellow ones. Does anyone know where these grow wild, if they do?

Mine came in a pot with a plant I bought. But i reckon it could be growing wild around here soon.:-)
