~we think it's a combination of the heavy rain washing away/loosening the soil from the roots followed by fierce winds!

I collected sloes near there a few yrs ago and made sloe wine. It was delicious :o)

Hywel we always make Sloe Gin .. thats delicious as well :o)

It,s a shame about the trees Arlene , theres nothing much that can be done about it ... :o(

~ no~ once they are uprooted its too late! I am hoping there will be saplings to take their place~although that is a long process!
