Poorly spinach

This is all that's appeared of my two rows of spinach, it's not looking too healthy at all.

Thanks Majeeka, I'm sure you know more than me :) Will see if there's anything in my books. It's planted in the patch I double-dug last year so the soil was turned well then.

hi Peter, i am not an expert on Spinach, but from this pic it looks as though your soil could do with a bit of attention, my advice would be to give it a light folking with a hand folk just to ruff up the surface and apply a bit of mulch - composted bark would be good, remove the dead leaves and you may find this will make all the difference! good luck.
