Very attractive flowers...

There are two things you should know about this shrub.

Firstly, it requires a sunny site in order to ripen the wood sufficiently to get flowers.
Secondly, it only flowers for about three weeks. The books will tell you it is scented but I think the scent is quite faint.

Mine is trained against a south-facing trellis so it doesn't take much room. After the flowers fade, it gets a pruning, cutting back the flowered wood to within one or two buds of the old growth. New growth is then tied in periodically during the rest of the growing season
