Milk:

That's great! It should bloom soon...as they bloom when very young.

My Adenium obesum 'Ice Pink' has many flowers now(I'll be posting a pic soon)...we have had a severe heat wave the last 3 days with temps in the 107 - 114F / 42 - 46C range. Some of my Plumerias have fried leaves...but all my Adeniums are loving it. It's truly a desert plant. : > )

Mushybanna:

Many cities of Southern California broke all time record highs yesterday. Downtown Los Angeles hit 113F/45C (it was the hottest temp ever recorded - since records began in 1873) and several other cities in San Diego County were in this same range also. Downtown San Diego (at the airport - the official weather reporting station) was only 95F/35C but it's one of the coolest weather reporting stations in San Diego County.

Only some records were broken here in San Diego County...because the biggest heat wave ever recorded happened on Sept 26, 27 of 1963. On Sept. 26, 1963 the San Diego Airport hit 111F/ 44C. which is the highest temp ever recorded - since records began in 1850. However, many districts supposedly hit 118F - 121F / 47C - 50C. during the great 1963 heat wave.
