I caught it just pass peak bloom,Sandra. The Yellow is bright yellow usually.
In a eventual 5 gallon in your polytunnel,you should get blooms from these. We are not a hot climate.

i love growing them from seed so would dearly love them to flower...gardening teaches us patience...

It looks good. They've been flowering for a while here.
Stan, you can't say it's not hot there...as most of California just had the hottest March on record. This is even beating out last year's very hot weather.

This years warm pushed up the flowering early,but they bloom in SF every year,warm or not.
Its been warm for sure. The Gladiola blooming in March is unheard of.

Yes, very warm to hot.
I read L.A. had 6 days of more than 90ºF (I think it was the same here) which made it the hottest March. San Diego had the warmest March on record, also.
It's suppose to be very warm tomorrow, then cool down from Sunday into next week. Well, closer to normal temps, anyway (still above normal).

most of my aeoniums flower but never a black one..this gives me hope for the future..
