This Dwarf variegated Agave is just about to send out its
flower buds. Photo taken Oct. 19, 2009 in Balboa Park,
San Diego, CA.

how tall is it?

It's probably pushing 8 feet / 2.4 meters tall.
It should grow taller before the flowers open.
