Allium karataviense

Allium karataviense (Allium karataviense)

I saw this allium growing wild on rocky places in Kazakhstan last year. Broad, glaucous leaves, off-white flowers on stems a few inches high

Nice to see plants in their native habitat.

These are great alliums, I have a few in my front border. You usually get straggly leaves with most alliums, but these are an exception.

See who else is growing Allium karataviense.

See who else has plants in genus Allium.
