Vey nice. Mine has no leaves after the weather we've had this winter. I'm hoping it survived otherwise I need to ask my aunt for a baby off her plant.

Thanks! You will most likely come back when it warms up. You probably have Alocasia macrorrhiza. I used to have giant Alocasia macrorrhiza plants in the San Francisco Bay Area. Here in San Diego the tubers are always eaten by bugs. I don't seem be able to get them to grow huge like I used to. :>(

I see gigantic ones all the time around. I just can't grow them as well as I used to.

I know, I'm so used to very large plants.

My Alocasia 'Portodora' is pretty large; although it's not looking it's best now. I just notice I attached the incorrect name to this photo (it should be Calidora), which I'm going to change now.
