Could you grab me some seed the next time it blooms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though, how old would that be do you think?

I'll see if I can get you seed. Typically, most people plant them from cuttings, though.
I'm not sure how old these are...they grow relatively fast here. I'm guessing 10 to 15 years old.
This photo really doesn't show of this Aloe too well. There's too many palms around them. The previous photo shows off the flowers better.

I don't really expect you to climb one for me!!!!!!!!!

The seeds do fall to the ground...I would guess. The seeds wouldn't ripen, most likely until late spring.

Nice pic. Reminds me of Jurrasic Park.

It was a really hot day on Mission Bay at the Bahia Hotel. Yes, it kind of resembles Hawaii, where Jurassic Park was filmed.

its hard to believe that's actually an Aloe plant. There's hardly any resemblance from when it was small.

The Aloe pic I took at the San Diego Zoo may be another species of Aloe. There's so many species and hybrids which grow wild here.
Some grow into big trees more than 50' tall. Most of the tall varieties usually top out at 30', though.

Is aloe an edible plant or just medicinal?
21 Mar, 2017
There'a Aloe juice. It's mostly used medicinally.
