First ever bloom for this my Aloe.

First ever bloom for this my Aloe. (Aloe rupestris)

I grew it in a pot..it stayed small and spindly and in juvenile leaf..I planted it after 3 years of that. It took off!..but all the fat adult foliage on the still slender trunk caused it to snap off. SO,I took that and planted the top in the ground here. The old stem? Just died off.
This is now about 6 in total and its blooming. It does become a tall trunking Aloe..some sucker, some dont. This so far is a single trunk.

Thanks..its been a journey with this plant. Definitely not "I bought it and planted it"..ups and downs for years.
It hadn't opened blooms completely. But I thought, get it online since it only takes one person walking by to snap the stem.
I think kids just can't help themselves, you know? One more problem of the tiny yard-lol.

I hope nobody comes by and removes the blooms!

You need to put up a camera. Many people have them these days. I was thinking about putting one up, also.
