Wow, fantastic colour. The leaves and flowers look a little aimilar in shape to those of the pea and sweet pea.Is it related????

Paul, the leaves are in fours like a butterfly. Arachis pintoi is a common ground cover over here.
I don't have a sweet pea vine. I have tried to sow the seeds of sweet pea but they didn't germinate. Sorry, i can't tell whether the flowers are similar .... sorry, I can't answer your question ...

When I sow Sweet Peas, I always chip a little of the seed coating off. Or you can soak them overnight. Both methods seem to work for me.In fact I have some just germinated in my potting shed at the moment! Thanks for your reply.
