My Verbascum have finished already ,it's been to dry for them .... I have a tray of young plants grown from seed I'm waiting for it to rain before I put them in !

Haven't you had any, Amy? We've had quite a lot over the last few days. The plants in the top border got munched by Verbascum caterpillars. Grrrrrr.....

We had a short burst yesterday afternoon Barbara it stopped almost as quickly as it started , it's been hot and sunny again today .. we are hoping to get some rain in the next day or two .. the poor plants haven't grown and the ones that have die almost at once , usually my beds are full of colour by now but there's gaps where plants haven't grown , they are there but stunted it's so sad .....

Awful for you. I'm so sorry. :-((
My OH set up a hose system, so at least when we had the dry period, I could move it round the beds.
