I though it might be the dreadful Asparagus fern! LOL! It grows wild here. I have three species that are horrible in my yard. I can't get rid of them.

Nothing dreadful about this one. If you don't take care of it..it just dies off fast.
In ground and in the best spot,it actually can grow over 6' with a real Asian beauty look to it.
You hardly ever see this one for sale. But,I guess on the internet someplace it always is.
Shame Andy -shame!..dreadful..lol. You should know better!

Oh, its also called Ming Fern and the new name is A.macowanii. It's also larger then I thought- up to 10'.

Looking over old posts I made on the net? Now I remember why its not in ground. Gophers.

I know I shouldn't say dreadful! However, my hate-hate relationship with Asparagus ferns is not good! LOL!
