No this is a taller one Dawn around 3ft, bought it from Malvern last autumn, I'd seen it on Gardeners World and was so pleased when I spotted it, a beauty and doesn't seem to suffer from the dreaded mildew.

I seem to remember you getting it now. Sounds like a nice one :)

I haven't dared check this one today, its been so windy even blew a garden chair halfway across the garden, it is staked though so fingers crossed.

Have you checked it yet Simbad?. I've had a few casualties. My lovely rudbeckia has been smashed down and broken. I didn't stake it - so lesson learned. Hope yours survived. Weather much better today....so horrible yesterday

Phew yes this was fine Poppylover, its at the bottom of the garden (we're on a hill so the bottoms more sheltered), not so lucky with my cosmos though lots of them flattened and a few other things, shame about your rudbeckia :-(, hate the wind, yes its much better here today, spent the afternoon at the pictures yesterday with eldest daughter, best place to be I think.

It's flowering early Katny, mine just have the odd one or two flowers. From the name I suspect it a small compact one - mine are low growing, nicer I think than the tall ones. Really light up the garden in Autumn.
