False Goatsbeard

False Goatsbeard (Astilbe biternata)

Thanks to the Goy members, I was able to research both types of goatsbeard and see why my two plants were so different, yet had similarities. This one is the astilbe. You can see the familiar leaves to the left of the flower. The flower itself is whispy & light, rather than dense.

What else?

See who else is growing Astilbe biternata.

See who else has plants in genus Astilbe.

This photo is of "Goatsbeard, false" in Grammazoo's garden
