There's a lot of tropical fruit trees growing in this exotic garden. Also, many varieties sugar apples (Annona squamosa) and GuanĂ¡bana (Annona muricata). This neighborhood has a lot of Wax Jambus and Mango trees, also. Photo taken March 3, 2020 in San Diego, CA.

I really love Wax Jambus! I absolutely love mangoes, though. lol!
I think Ataulfo could be very good for Hayward, it's a smaller mango which should take less time to ripen.

Not sure on the Jambu...but love the Mangoes. A neighborhood can never have too many of them.
My Ataulfo is blooming. I planted it from seed in the 5 or 6 year range now. I tell you Andy, its killing me wondering they what they are going to look and taste like. The mother fruit was pure yellow, and very sweet. Not sure if Hayward can be Sinaloa...or even close!
