Wow! That's a large one! I know they grow very well up there. I don't think I've seen one that large, though.

They don't get enormous...but this is pretty good. At least 20 years old I bet. If I'm wrong? Then congrats to the grower.

Yes, I would guess it's at least 20 years old. It's really hardy, it most likely would have survived the 1990 freeze.
I forgot my friend in Oakland has one that's larger that his one. It was planted in the late 1980's (if I'm not mistaken).
