Climber/ scrambler. Masses of tiny yellow flowers followed by small purple fruit. Grown from seed. I sowed fresh seed immediately last year, got one germinated but it damped off.

I'm afraid there isn't any sight of seeds growing from the seeds you kindly sent me Sue ,not yet anyway .

Amy, My plant was grown from a bought packet of seed. One seed germinated almost immediately on sowing, as did one only from the seed I sent you, but it died almost as quickly. Hopefully more fruit this year to try again. Although I keep the pots going no others germinated.

I haven't given up on them Sue you did say the seeds could take a long time to germinate ...

I'm going to try to germinate again, it's niggling me. This time I'll take the fruit and wash it well in case the seed has a germination inhibiting coat.

I've always had very low rates of germination with Billardiera, and Sollya for that matter.

I only needed one, but I do like a challenge.
