My Fijian tree fern is putting out new fronds. Photo taken in my yard in San Diego, CA on Oct. 31, 2011.

Thanks! Yes, it a very beautiful dwarf fern which only grows to 6ft/2m tall.

Thanks! It's doing much better now that's it's in a pot and under the shade structure. It used to dry out and sun-burn all the time when it was in the ground.

I have killed 3 of them in my yard, What is the secret. You seem to know. I need to have you over...LOL Someone once told me a while back, "I killed plastic plant in my window sill, " I responded how so? its not possible. She said " it Melted!!! LOL

I killed some myself. They need a shady spot with tons of water. The ones I've killed were from lack of water.
