I'm ecstatic my 10 year old Fiji tree fern is not dead! It's growing again! It dried out so badly in the extreme dry heat (many days in 90's or 38ÂșC) back in November. All the leaves dried out because of the heat and extreme 6 year drought. We now have had almost a seasons (9 in or 228mm is our annual rainfall) worth of rain in a month and a half. Photo taken Jan. 29, 2017.

Amy:
Thank you. :>)
It's growing very well in the very warm weather we've had over the last 5 days.

Thanks! :>))
Yes, it's growing so well! It needs a ton of water (which was difficult in our extreme drought, which is officially over as of last week. YAY!). This fern hates our very hot weather most of the year here (even though it's native to the tropics). It likes mostly shade here.
