I dont know, I have no idea about the difference between a butia capitata and a butia eriospatha, also found a few other names for the plant.

It's not easy to distinguish between the many of the species...as they all look very similar.
This photo does look like Butia capitata - Jelly Palm.

It is Butia capitata - Jelly Palm?
We grow many in California and several other species than the more common Butia capitata - Jelly Palm. I know they are all native to South America... Most Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina.
