Ceanothus 'Gloire de Versailles' - 2013 (Ceanothus 'Gloire de Versailles')

There are two advantages with this ceanothus.
Firstly, it can be pruned - in fact it's better for being cut back to within one or two buds of the previous years' growth in spring.
But more importantly for the gardener, it flowers twice every year. The main flush is in early summer, but now it's just starting again

Worth knowing, I need a shrub that can be pruned fairly hard, and it must be blue!!
