I am a big Cistus fan Karen, love the flowers, the colours and the fact they are evergreen;o)) I have about 12 in the garden this year, 6 different types and some are young enough to be dug up to come with me

Lovely.....we don't really get the sunshine they need here, or the dry, but I did have a couple in my old garden that did very well, but they were in a raised bed on a steep slope, so that would explain that....south facing too.

They have surprised me this year Karen as they have not been bathed in sunshine and live in my horrible clay. I took this pic on the way to my car this morning in the rain.
