Thank you for your comments, I hope it survives the winter I have heard they can be a bit tender I will wrap it up to give it a fighting chance especially as they were only planted as plugs in June.

That's a fantastic result from a plug so recently. So many Goyers seem to report clematis reluctant to flower.
