Thank you all :) I have to say this flower was a bit of a surprise really. There was only one bud from two plants ... and like yourself, this bud was just before the first frost ... but somehow it managed to survive and open. I've cut both the plants off at the base now and have moved them (hopefully) out of the way of the frosts, maybe I'll get a better show next year if they survive.
