Coffea arabica - Baby Coffee Trees

There's many dozens of seedling coffee tees under my large coffee tree. They've been germinating for the last month or two. This happens every year...then the slugs and snail eat every one of them. This year I'm going to dig some up...because I have family, friends asking for small coffee trees all the time. Photo taken Feb. 19, 2010.

If I don't dig these plants out, there won't be any smell of coffee. LOL! : >) Several plants have already been eaten by snail/slugs.

This is just a small area. They're coming up all around the big coffee tree.
