Yes - I 'almost' did, Denise. I found a small shoot from 'Limerock Ruby' and it has a few flowers! What a survivor! I do have a couple that are hardier - I'll try to post photos later. :-)

Yes, it's beautiful, and it'll flower right through until late autumn now. :-)

Yes, you are. I had a C. vercillicata that came up every year. My fault it is no longer with us - I had it in a part-shady place, and it didn't really thrive. In the sun I'm sure it would have been fine.
