Bought one at last (HPS) still in pot, need to find a sunny sheltered position.

You won’t regret getting this lovely plant!

Very pleased I found it, only problem is where to put it.
Think next to my Clianthus, which has been stripped bare by molluscs I think. As the leaves are so similar, I hope they don't attack it as well.

I've never had any problems with mine Sue

That's good to know that snails etc don't seem to attack it. Having stood the plant in its pot in front of the cream coloured bungalow wall, it just doesn't stand out, so a rethink about its final position is called for.

I got one too, it's small but I'm hoping it'll get going soon :-)
I couldn't resist the winter colour and scent, I've been admiring Karen's for a couple of years.

Be prepared it makes for a large plant........Andrew does say it can be cut back hard though!!

Dd, I've moved the plant&pot to the back fence border in front of my Cotinus, but won't get the scent there. Another rethink about position.

Yes you do need to be able!e to smell the perfume!!

Oh dear, now I'm confused about where to put it. Paint the rendering on the front of the bungalow a different colour!

That's the problem with impulse buys - where to plant them! :-)
21 Feb, 2019
I've wanted one for a couple of years but didn't actively search one out, then a couple came up on the HPS sale table. Is that an impulse buy?
21 Feb, 2019
In my garden, it's an impulse buy if you don't know where to put it
21 Feb, 2019
Impulse to me is, when I don't know the plant, it's requirements, and where to put it.
