Cortaderia pumila

Xela

By Xela

 Cortaderia pumila (Cortaderia pumila)

Paul and I tidied his pampas grass this morning. We have combed it with the rake and manually pulled dead leaves out. We have left the plumes produced last year because Paul likes the plumes, it looks naked without them.

Looks very good. Mine went completely brown and dead in the severe weather we had in Jan/Feb this winter. I cut all the dead stuff down and am now waiting to see whether any new growth appears.
