Sue - don't corydalis thrive in your garden? My friend Gill (the other Open Garden, a mile away) can't grow them, but here they self sow quite happily.

Andrew, I have never succeeded with blue Pere David, but I believe that can be difficult, liking acidic soil. Thanks to Bjs, I have had a Corydalis eureka moment, small blog to follow.

Sue - another good blue one is corydalis 'Craigton Blue', available from Edrom Nursery.

I bought a blue flexuosa at a NGS event last year, the non corn type according to Bjs, doing well.
