Corydalis henrikii - 2017

Although this only grows to around six inches tall, it's a tough little customer and flowers for a long period. Growing for a bulb, it likes a well-drained soil in part shade, even tolerating a fairly dry soil.

Yes, the bulbous ones are great little plants for early colour, and by May they have disappeared underground again.

That's my problem anything that disappears, gets planted on top , can't have bare soil lol!!

What you need is something that SPREADS over the area so you can't plant into it.
