Crinodendron patagua

By Andrewr

Crinodendron patagua (Crinodendron patagua)

You may know C. hookerianum with its red 'lanterns', but this one is not very often found in gardens. It forms a small tree, up to 25 feet high, with these small white flowers - you need to be close to the plant to see them as they do not show up from a distance. This one needs an acid soil but can take a drier soil and sunnier spot than its cousin
