Taken for Stickitoffee.
This was taken at an ISO of 200 in very poor light at an exposure time of one second. This is where my new (secondhand) tripod is invaluable.

thats a great one! thanks meanie. no flash, just tripod? i dont think i can do time on my camera ~ i shall have to consult the manual!?
i think i like the dark background cos i love contrast in colours and the dark sets off the other colours. many thanks.
orchids are intriguing ~ i always think they look a little fierce ~ like the open mouth of a tiger?
