Gorgeous.

I had 'Windlesham Ruby', K. It went all strange and woody - unprunable - in the winter, so out it went and in went this one! It's only slightly different...maybe a tad darker red. :-))
I think I prefer it too, Wagger!

This is gorgeous, need to know more about this plant. How tall? - what type of soil? - flowering time ? - deciduous ? - Cutting back? - I know, I could look it up but I'd rather hear from a fellow gardener

Hi Titchy - they like a sunny position. I don't think they're fussy about soil, but they don't enjoy soggy feet, so it must be well-drained. You can see the flowering time - that's now, although my paler 'Zeelandia' flowers earlier. The flowers last about a month I suppose. The eventual height will be about 4'6", and you snip them back a bit when they've finished flowering to keep them in shape - NEVER into old wood, though. They're semi- evergreen.
Is that enough info? :-) There you are, Homebird. Now you know as well. I hope you find one.
