This is one of the toughest orchids besides Epidendrums and other Dendroubiums to grow outside.

That is handy to know we have wild Hardy orchid s here normally they are protected not allowed to take any. I have just been given one. Shhh lol.

Even though no orchids are native to San Diego, we can grow many outdoors, as long as they are not in full sun. Epidendrum and Cymbidiums are about the most sun-tolerant, though.

Your lucky Andy to be able to have them growing out side I am hoping that my wild one flowers this year. I ve just put some house orchids on here they were reduced to
£2.49p my daughter bought loads then she wanted my yellow striped one so I let her have that one.
