Ferns at one time we're they only plants woman were allowed to grow here .
You would love the ones down the canal tow path by me aside the canal is a very steep drop at the bottom is the River Sowe than runs under the canal it's very dark but each side of the steep embankments they are covered in lots of different Ferns you can get down to it by a wooden stair way the canal authorities and council have provided.
