Corn Plant grows to become a large plant in the ground. This plant was growing and starting to bloom at the San Diego Zoo on Oct. 27, 2010.

I have smelled these blooms before: it is well named "fragrans"!

That's what I've been told. My plant in the front yard has bloomed in the past however, I've never noticed a fragrance. Maybe because I've never smelled the flowers before. :>)
