Enkianthus cernuus forma rubens - 2010

Enkianthus cernuus forma rubens - 2010 (Enkianthus cernuus forma rubens)

I first saw this shrub many years ago at Exbury Gardens in Hampshire. Reaches eight feet at maturity and needs a moist, acid to neutral soil in sun or part shade (my first plant, planted in shade on heavy soil failed in a cold, wet winter)

I liked the little flower, but got curious about the green bush behind, would you enlight me about?

Aleyna - behind the enkianthus is a conifer, picea glauca var albertiana 'Conica'. This grows in a prefect cone shape and can eventually reach twenty feet
