I'd love them, but they wouldnt feed one slug for breakfast! and I have a great many slugs and snails I have to fight off every day.

Funny you should say that Tetrarch, I don't know why, but I seem to have lost all my slugs! I've had the beer traps out and not many in there at all. No holes whatsoever in any of the hostas....I so hope I'm not jinxing myself saying this...but I think I've cracked it!!

Well, I was exaggerating a teensy bit, but I put some bedding plants on the steps and the beggars found them and annihilated them! Caught them with slug pellets but damage done! But my hostas good and so are my irises..so I dont have THAT many, its been so dry so guess they still hibernating unless they are near something irrisistible! Actually thinking of evicting the blackbirds cos they dont seem to eat that many!
