winter aconites


winter aconites (Eranthis hyemalis (Winter aconite))

lovely egg yolk yellow showing against the leaf litter. I love these sunny little flowers.

I'm beginning to think they are a bit like snowdrops and are better planted the green. I'm going to try again with plants this time.

I've ordered some from a company online to be delivered any day now and they're in the green, so I'm trying again.
