Thanks! It's very doubtful an Erythrina crista-galli will look like this tree. It's flowers are very different and the tree doesn't grow as large.

Sometimes Erythrina is referred to as flame tree...however, there's so many trees that are called flame trees.

You're welcome. I thought you'd like to see what Erythrina crista-galli looks like in full bloom. Coral trees are super common here...they're widely grown in the parks and along the freeways here.

There's hundreds of species of Erythrina. Sometimes the species are difficult to id, as so many look very similar.

I've mis-identified some Erythrina species in the past, too. Erythrina lysistemon and E. caffra look and grow very similar.
