Euphorbia tirucalli - Pencil Tree

This Pencil tree was never meant to be planted in this spot. The roots grew out of a 15 gallon container and into the ground. It's getting in the way of my Markhamia lutea and Acalypha shrub. Posted for Klahanie. Photo taken Jan. 23, 2014.

Yes, it will definitely have to be cut back and thinned out. All the large branches can easily be planted and will root and make a new tree;however, I have not room.
I hate when I see trees and plants butchered. It really takes away from the landscape.

Thank you D1, It is definitely the same tree as the one on this property. It is too bad that it ended up in the wrong place. Maybe you can "thin it" drasticaly, but not like our landlords gardener. He butchers all trees. I want to cry (almost) when I see it.
