DD, that's so funny! He was mortified when he saw them last Sunday when he came to have lunch with us! He kept on saying that he couldn't understand what had happened! He said somebody must have moved them, he is a volunteer there & only works there a few hours 3 days a week.

This is a wonderful photo of a hardy Geranium!
I just discovered this week that the plants I put in 2 hanging baskets on the balcony are not strawberries but Cranesbills (Hardy Geraniums)!
My brother gave me them when I told him I was thinking of growing some strawberries on the balcony. He told me he could get me some plants free from the nursery where he works. When I was planting them in the baskets I thought they were rather strange looking plants for strawberries but as they weren't in the best of conditions I planted them up anyway & now they are flowering - only they have pink flower & not white ones like strawberries have!
As soon as the first flower opened I recognised the plants as Cranesbills & not strawberries!
