Very nice, I know the gunnera gets quite large so this flower head is probable large too....

Hi Sal, this is the smaller variety, compared to the Manicata. I've had mine for about 6 years now and they are about 3 feet across.

Yes, thick and waxy and not sharp at all. It was quite big but quite hidden under the gunnera leaves, until we exposed it!

just found this dawn..... as i wondered what the flowers look like.. ive just found what i think is a flower at the base of the leaves.... have put a pic on....
