Yes, the bracts are very showy. Heliconia flowers are extremely common in floral arrangements.

Yes very showy that is a shame they pick the flowers for floral arrangements to me that would be a sin I would nt even have my roses picked for the house unless the weather had broken them

Heliconia flowers have been very widely used in floral arrangements for many decades. They make an incredible arrangement.
