This area had many of these gorgeous Daylilies blooming in the 85ºF/29ºC. heat in Balboa Park today. Photo taken Jan. 17, 2011.

Daylilies bloom here all year. I'm very surprised they don't bloom there all year also. I can understand the flowers burning in the middle of the summer there.

Nice! Wish pink Daylilies didn't turn a funky beige in the summer here, or that they bloomed sooner!
